Head of Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield
Professor Anna Jorgensen holds a Chair in urban natural environments, health and wellbeing and is Head of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield.
She is the former Managing Editor of the refereed journal Landscape Research. Her research specialism is the relationship between human health and wellbeing and urban natural environments, with a particular interest in the impact of wilder, more biodiverse and less managed urban green spaces. Her research deals with people’s perceptions of urban green spaces but also addresses issues of urban planning, design and management, including the design of nature-based solutions in everyday urban environments.
